The Wednesday Team

The Wednesday Team meet regularly throughout the year to undertake both major and routine
work on all sections of the club’s water.

This includes the key elements of our maintenance programme:

1. Preventing or repairing damage caused by tree falls

2. Clearing overgrown areas where very little light reaches the water (e.g. Upper Cam)

3. Clearing entry points to ladders and access to the water

4. Regular strimming of most popular areas (e.g. Midford, The Mye, Archery Field)

5. Maintenance to gates, fences, ladders, bridges and stiles

6. Supporting specific projects (e.g. deflectors on the lower Midford)

 

Dick Rees supports the Wednesday team as well as other maintenance issues.

The Wednesday team has long been a valuable asset to the club and welcomes both regular and
occasional support.
