Midford Brook: Monkton Combe to Midford Meadow

Fly Fishing on the Midford Brook: Monkton Combe to Midford Meadow.
Located in the picturesque countryside south of Bath, the Midford Brook flows from the confluence of the Wellow and Cam brooks at Midford through Monkton Combe to join the Bristol Avon. This stretch of water is a true gem, providing a varied and challenging experience for fly anglers both from the bank and wading. The brook carries a good population of wild brown trout and grayling and the occasional coarse fish at certain times of the year. The upstream sections are trickle stocked with rainbow trout. All brown trout and grayling are strictly catch and release.
