Stretching upstream from the Confluence Pool in Midford to Wellow Ford in the picturesque village of Wellow. This section of water is a delight for the fly-fishing angler. These beats provide a true small-stream experience, demanding a combination of technical skill, patience, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of this secluded waterway. With abundant insect life, including mayflies, olives, caddis, and terrestrials, the fishing can be exceptional, especially on warm summer evenings when trout sip flies from the surface.
